In these new works created especially for this solo exhibition, he invites us to reflect on a world continually filled with memory and evocations that seem to almost undo the passage of time, endowing the brushstroke with an edgy emotional charge that is capable of reawakening dormant sentiments.

“In my works, objects, people or animals are not depicted in their normal and natural surroundings; there are no recognisable figures as such, yet they reveal absolute values without evoking the spectator’s everyday environment. In other words, they do not depict anything distinguishable in terms of setting or context, but express inner visions, revealing the spiritual essence of life. They are a collection of moments, figures suspended in time, portrayed in an abstract daily life. They are gestures frozen and designed for a time outside time, where shapes reveal themselves to the observer like apparitions and the colours help emphasise the sublime character of the mood” (Sannicandro).

Fabrizio Sannicandro, People

a cura di Antonello Tolve

Kyro Art Gallery

Via Padre Eugenio Barsanti 29, 55045 Pietrasanta (LU)

www.kyroartgallery.com | info@kyroartgallery.com

ph. +39 334 1147775

Fabrizio Sannicandro PEOPLE curated by Antonello Tolve opening | Saturday 4 July at 7.30 pm – duration | 4 July –
