data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Giuseppe Inglese<\/strong> was born in Rivoli in 1978 and he currently lives and works in Settimo Torinese. In 1998 he enrolled at the University of Turin to pursue a degree in Philosophy. In the years spent at university, he mainly focused on topics concerning the ego, and the world and its reciprocal relations, from a psychological, sociological and philosophical perspective.  <\/p><p>All these brought about a solid knowledge of the sense of reality. He also focused on Freud and Jung\u2019s psychoanalytical theories, and by combining them with the most recent findings in cognitive psychology, he was able to analyse the relation between thought \u2013 understood as in conscious and unconscious experience \u2013 and human reactions on both emotional and behavioural levels. He also attended several courses on child drawings\u2019 grapho-analytical interpretation, which allowed him to achieve a better understanding of the connection between the deep ego, graphic signs and colour. <\/p><p>In those years Inglese was also able to enhance his knowledge on aesthetics as the \u201cscience of the sensory perception\u201d, and on foundation concepts such as the external world intended as \u201cunemendable\u201d, or the connection between conceptual schemes and emotional experience, and between experience and mnemic imprint.<br>Paramount to his academic development was the discovery of Kant\u2019s theoretical and pragmatical criticism, together with Kurt Koffka, Wolfgang K\u00f6hler, Max Wertheimer and Bozzi\u2019s studies on perception. As a result, he was exposed to the existential writings of Beckett, Dostoyevsky, Kafka and Camus, which, in turn lead him to the rational philosophical works of Sartre and Heidegger.<\/p><p>It was in this context that he developed his passion for art, conceived as an aesthetic moment of synthesis, in which all instances materialize and the \u201cbeing\u201d reveals itself in all its completeness.<\/p><p>He practiced different painting techniques in various local artists\u2019 studios and in 2011 he opened his first atelier, where he kept developing his personal research and artistic work.<\/p><p>2012 was a year of deep inner transformation for the artist, which lead to the birth, in 2013, of the first hand woven luminescent sculpture in stainless steal wire, which characterises the artist\u2019s current production. In 2014 he started collaborating with several art galleries. <\/p><p>Many existential questions characterize the first, exclusively pictorial, phase of his work. In the early period he focused his research on topics such as the shape-background relation, the fullness of the being, its materiality, the world\u2019s fragmentation, the confusion and the strain of living and interacting with the other.<\/p><p>Every human being, \u201cwho exists because he is in the world\u201d, lives in an everchanging condition, plunged into absurd existential problems, facing endless possibilities which enable him to make decisions and plans for himself based on an ethics of truth and authenticity. At the same time, the very same possibilities leave him obstructed and powerless.  <\/p><p>Inglese\u2019s research soon shifted from the \u201cpresence of the being\u201d to that of the \u201cnon-being\u201d. As Sartre wrote, \u201cnothingness brings the being into one\u2019s heart\u201d.
